The most effective preventative and rehabilitative programmes emphasise individualised exercise.
Initial Stages of Injury Rehabilitation
The initial stages of injury rehabilitation are carried out by a therapist. Once the therapist’s course of treatments have been completed the rehabilitation process is only partially completed.
Later Stages of Injury Rehabilitation
The goal of the later stages of injury rehabilitation are to return the injured participant back to full functional capacity and to prevent the reoccurrence to further injury.
Injury Rehabilitation Programmes
Strengthening and flexibility exercises can be prescribed specifically individualised to ensure the injury site returns to a fully functional state and to ensure that the cause of the original injury is eliminated.
